In their bid to track down the man who robbed a downtown credit union last month, Brantford Police have release a photo of the back of the note he passed to an employee.

The back of the note is significant, police say, because it contains what appears to be an internal memo from an unknown company.

It’s in connection with the robbery of the Your Neighbourhood Credit Union branch on Charlotte Street, on Feb. 20.

At the time, police described the suspect as a white man likely in his 20s, 5’3” tall with a slim build.

He was seen wearing a black, bomber-style jacket with brown fur around its hood, black gloves, aviator-type sunglasses, blue jeans and black footwear.

The note, part of which was torn off prior to the robbery, reads as follows:

“To All Employees:

Please submit bank information to Front office b…

Information submitted needs to be account wh … weekly payroll deposited.

A void cheque can be submitted or your financial … supply you with a form with correct direct deposit … account.
