If you don’t want to know about impending snow, don’t read any further.

After a week and weekend that made it seem like spring had arrived in southern Ontario to stay, this week is set to present a reminder of what we’ve just escaped.

Rain will spend Monday afternoon moving northeastward across our coverage area.

As that system leaves southern Ontario, it will usher in cooler temperatures – cool enough that flurries are possible by midweek.

While things may not cool down quite enough to guarantee snow, it’s expected to be a wet week in southern Ontario one way or another.

Long-range forecasts show things warming up by the end of the week, with daytime highs back over 10 C by the weekend.

Cooler nights are also in the cards by then, with sub-zero lows forecast.
