The second half of the week looks to be a rainy one.

Showers are expected to begin early Tuesday evening in Huron-Perth, hitting Waterloo-Wellington and Oxford-Brant regions not long after.

Grey-Bruce may escape the rain – there’s only a 70 per cent chance of showers there overnight – but a risk of thunderstorms will persist across our coverage area.

Forecasts for Wednesday call for a 60 per cent chance of showers and highs between 23 C and 25 C, except in Oxford-Brant, which will see a 30 per cent chance of morning showers will move up to 70 per cent by the afternoon hours.

The risk of showers and thunderstorms will continue Wednesday night – still strongest in Oxford-Brant – as temperatures drop to around the 17 C mark.

Looking ahead to the end of the week, Waterloo-Wellington and Huron-Perth are forecast to have highs of 25 C and 23 C on Thursday and Friday respectively, with a 60 per cent chance of showers on Thursday and 40 per cent chance on Friday.

The odds of precipitation are the same in Grey-Bruce, but temperatures will be lower there – ofrecast highs are 21 C for Thursday and 22 C for Friday.
