Police say they want to hear from anyone with information regarding a hit-and-run collision in Norwich Township.
According to Oxford County OPP, the owners of the Traveller Gas Bar – which is located on Highway 59 just west of Burgessville – were awoken last Friday night to the sounds of screeching tires and a loud bang.
They allegedly saw a small red car driving away from their gas bar, heading southbound on Oxford Road 13.
Police were contacted the next morning, when it was discovered that an exterior wall of the business had been damaged.
Responding officers found what OPP call “obvious tire tracks leading to the building.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
