Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an assault at a Kitchener home that sent at least one person to hospital.
Officers were called to the home on Queen Street, near Mill Street, around 10 p.m.
By the time police arrived, the person accused of the assault had fled the scene.
Officers searched for the suspect on Mill Street and along the Iron Horse Trail.
The canine unit was also called in.
One person was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
