Police say no one was injured after an early morning armed robbery at a Petro Canada gas bar in Waterloo.

At approximately 12:49 a.m. a man entered the gas bar on Columbia Street West, showing a weapon and demanded cash, according to police.

The man fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

He is described as 5’10” to 6 ft. in his late twenties, average to muscular build, with light coloured eyes and light coloured facial hair.

Police say he was wearing a dark hooded sweat shirt, blue plaid workman’s style jacket and camouflage pants.
