Waterloo Regional Police have released a composite image showing the man wanted in an alleged abduction in Waterloo.

The incident occurred May 23, on Lexington Road near Davenport Road.

According to police, a woman walking along Lexington was stopped by a passing motorist asking for directions.

The male motorist then allegedly made several sexual comments, grabbed the woman by the wrist and tried to pull her into the van.

She managed to get away uninjured.

The man in question is described as being 5’8” to six feet tall and in his early or mid-40s, with tanned skin.

Police said he had short, balding brown-and-grey hair, as well as a strong accent, an average or large build, a large stomach, a dark golf shirt and dark blue jeans.

His vehicle was said to be a silver minivan with rust over its passenger-side tires.
