London police are investigating the city’s fifth homicide of the year.
Officers responded to a home in the area of Whitney Street and Avondale Road just after 3 a.m. Wednesday for a medical distress call.
Police say they found a woman suffering from injuries consistent with a stabbing.
She was taken to London Health Sciences Centre by ambulance but succumbed to her injuries.
Police have arrested a man known to the victim, and say they are not looking for any other suspects.
The investigation continues. No names have been released.
