Ontario Provincial Police and Toronto Police are investigating after a man was found bound and gagged on the side of a highway near Milton around 7:30 Tuesday morning.
Police say he was abducted from a condo in downtown Toronto near Bay and Dundas after a violent struggle.
Neighbours say they heard loud noises around 6:00 pm on Monday.
Police say the man was physically dumped on the highway in the area of Trafalgar Rd and Highway 401 in Horby, a community between Milton and Mississauga.
The man was sent to hospital and was taken away by investigators.
Police say the man was hurt but are not saying how badly.
How and why he ended up on the side of the highway remains unknown.
