Three people have been arrested following an armed robbery in Waterloo.
It happened Saturday night on Hickory Street near Wilfrid Laurier University.
A special constable with the university witnessed the three suspects approach a man before pulling out a weapon and robbing him of his cell phone.
Waterloo Regional Police were called and found a fake gun on one of the suspects.
An adult male and two minors were arrested.
Police are continuing to investigate since there have been previous robberies near the university similar to this incident.
