An aircraft made an emergency landing in an agricultural field in Lambton County, Sunday afternoon.

Around 11 a.m., Lambton Ontario Provincial Police say that a man flying the aircraft alone, experienced in-flight problems that required him to perform an emergency landing in the 2200 block of Oil Springs Line.

The pilot suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital, and police say there was no one on the ground during the time of the incident.

Transport Canada has been advised of the incident.
