Police are investigating after one person was found dead in a wooded area near the community of Erin.
Police tape cordoned off parts of a property off Road 124, near the 10th Line, Thursday morning.
A Wellington County OPP spokesperson said an investigation into the person’s death was underway.
Police say the person was male, but further details on his identity and the circumstances of his death were not immediately available.
Firefighters were called to the area shortly before 7 a.m. in response to a small brush fire, the local fire chief said.
