Police are investigating after a person was found dead in a vehicle near Belwood, north of Fergus, on Monday.
Wellington County OPP along with Centre Wellington firefighters were called to an address on 6th Line, near Wellington County Road 18, just before noon in response to a vehicle fire called in by a passing motorist.
Arriving at the scene, they found one person dead inside the vehicle.
Their identity has not been released.
Police say they have not found any reason to consider the person's death suspicious, but continue to investigate.
6th Line was expected to remain closed for most of the day.
The Office of the Fire Marshal has been called in.
