A young man was critically injured after he was hit by a train in Brantford early Saturday morning.
Police say the man was hit by the westbound freight train around 1:40 a.m., between Stanley Street and Rawdon Street.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Hamilton General Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
The incident is still under investigation and police are asking anyone who may have witnessed it to contact Brantford Police at 519-756-0113 ext. 2212.
