The Kitchener Panthers kept their hopes alive for 1st place in the IBL with a 9-2 victory over the Guelph Royals on Tuesday night.  Kitchener is now 1.5 games behind Barrie for top spot. 

The Panthers need to win their regular season finale tonight and get some help from other teams to have any chance of capturing the regular season title. 

 David Whiteside delivered for the Panthers going 3-4 with 3 RBI in Tuesday’s win.  Tanner Nivins chipped in with 4 hits.  Kitchener is on the road tonight facing the Brantford Red Sox.  The Guelph Royals host the Barrie Baycats.
