Boris Panovski’s trial won’t start until next year.

Panovski is accused of killing Don Frigo and wounding his wife Eva Willer at the Hullett Wildlife Conservation Area  during a bird-dogging trip near Clinton in September.

Frigo, a 70-year-old Caledon East resident, was an executive at a Toronto-based construction firm.

On Sept. 18th, the OPP issued a Canada Wide Warrant for Panovski, aged 70 years, from Scarborough, Ontario.

On Sept. 21st, he was arrested without incident as he re-entered Canada at Pearson International Airport

During a brief video appearance in Goderich on Thursday, Panovski learned a preliminary hearing won’t happen until October at the earliest. He will be back in court via video on April 9.
