Five Cambridge Memorial Hospital patients are sick with an enteric disease, hospital officials say.
An outbreak was declared Tuesday on level 5 of Wing B at the hospital – its inpatient mental health unit.
According to a hospital-issued press release, all patients with enteric symptoms have been placed in isolation.
Other precautions taking place include extra cleaning.
Due to the outbreak, only one visitor is allowed at a time for each patient.
