Norfolk OPP are investigating a complaint, after sexually explicit pictures of a 15-year-old were allegedly shared with people she didn’t send them to.

According to police, a 15-year-old boy requested the pictures.

Once the teenage girl sent them, they were forwarded on to others.

In the midst of this case, police are asking parents to talk to their kids about the dangers of sending and sharing naked photos.

Officers say there has been an increase in the number of reports involving youths sending and requesting nude photos and videos over the internet.

They warn that this kind of action can lead to child porn and other kinds of criminal charges.

Officials want parents to re-enforce the fact that once a photo is out there you can’t get it back.

According to police, both teens in the above case know each other, but as of right now no charges have been laid.

Police, however, say they are still investigating.
