Officials from the Greater Toronto Airport Authority were in Kitchener Wednesday night to discuss a regional airport system in Southern Ontario.

Pearson International Airport won't have enough space to accommodate the estimated 20 million extra passengers expected over the next thirty years.

The GTAA and Waterloo Region International Airport officials are working together to come up with a plan to deal with the growing number of flights and passengers.

The region continues to receive input from residents on the future of the airport.

They will hold another public meeting in the fall and hope to present the airport master plan to council by the end of the year.
