A migrant farm worker was shot by what police say was a stray bullet on Saturday in Norfolk County.

At around 2:30 p.m. OPP were called to a farm on County Road 21, south of Tilsonburg.

A 52-year-old had been shot in the leg. His injuries were non-life threatening.

Police say that people on a property on Concession Road 13, just south of County Road 21 were target practicing with rifles. Police believe that was where the bullet came from.

The investigation continues, and police say it is possible that charges may be laid.
