Fire crews in Kitchener didn’t have to put out a blaze, but they did have to clean up a lot of water at a shoe store Thursday night.
The Shoeper Store on Fairway Road was flooded when a sprinkler system malfunctioned.
It caused quite a bit of flooding.
Firefighters used squeegees and a shop vac to clear up the soggy mess.
There is no word on the cost of damages.
