More GO buses are coming to Cambridge.
Transportation Minister Steven Del Duca visited the city Friday to announce a dozen new weekday trips between Cambridge and Milton.
Starting this fall, Cambridge will see an additional four morning trips to Milton, four more afternoon peak-time buses arriving from Milton, as well as two more buses from Milton in the slightly earlier afternoon hours and two more buses from Milton in the late evening.
In a government press release, Cambridge MPP Kathryn McGarry called the announcement “great news for commuters” in her city.
“The government is listening to our local needs,” she said.
An exact start date for the additional trips has not been made public.
