Three more deer carcasses have been found dumped along the roadside in Brant County and points south.

Brant County OPP say two carcasses were found Monday afternoon along Brant-Waterloo Road.

Both had been left in garbage bags sometime over the weekend, and were missing their heads and fur.

Along with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry, police are investigating the discovery as a case of illegal “trophy hunting.”

A similar incident was reported to Norfolk County OPP on the same day, from the 7th Concession RNT in Houghton, west of Long Point.

In that case, 12 deer heads, a number of deer legs and one deer carcass were apparently left at the side of the road over the weekend.

These incidents come on the heels of two carcasses being found along Oxbow Road, south of Brantford, last week.

Both of those carcasses were also missing their heads and fur.

Police say they want to hear from anyone with information about any of the carcasses.
