Residents of a Waterloo neighbourhood woke up Tuesday to find that their tires had been slashed.

Waterloo Regional Police say they’re aware of at least 17 vehicles that were vandalized on McCarron Place and McCarron Crescent.

Two of them belonged to Clara Kirk, who says she hasn’t seen similar vandalism in the 38 years she has spent living in the neighbourhood.

“Everybody on my side of the street had their tires slashed if their car was on their driveway,” she said.

Police say they have no description of any suspects, and want to hear from anyone who has information that could help investigators.
