Waterloo Regional Police have charged a 21-year-old man with human trafficking.
Officials tell CTV News they learned a 17-year-old girl was working as an escort at a Cambridge hotel, and was being exploited.
Late Saturday night, they arrested the 21-year-old and charged him with human trafficking, as well as living off the avails of prostitution of a person under the age of 18.
The suspect is in custody pending a bail hearing.
