Waterloo Regional Police are investigating four robberies in north Waterloo in the past week.

In all four incidents the victims were attacked by a group of men who demanded money and valuables.

The first of these robberies took place on May 11 on a trail near Davenport Road. The second was at Regina and Hickory Streets on May 13. The third and fourth both took place on May 14 in the Columbia and Phillip Street area.

Police say various weapons have been used in the muggings, and the victims have received non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they’re concerned with the violence that is occurring during the robberies. They ask anyone who is approached to avoid confrontation, and not to put their personal safety at risk.

Police are also asking anyone with information on these robberies to call them or Crime Stoppers.
