Ontario Provincial Police and their canine and underwater units are continuing the search for a Perth man last seen on Dec. 31, 2016.
Perth County OPP said Derek Ritz, 51, was last seen early morning on Avonton Road in Sebringville.
On Thursday, police did a ground search of a mixed, bush-type property located just south of Sebringville close to Perth Road 130 and Line 34.
On Friday, the underwater search team will continue the search.
Police are describing Ritz as 5’11 and 170 pounds, with brown eyes and unkempt, shoulder-length brown hair. At the time he went missing, police said he was wearing a dark leather motorcycle jacket, a dark shirt and blue jeans.
