A man is in hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car.
Guelph police were called to the dead end of Silvercreek Parkway South late Friday night.
Police say a man was walking on the road when he was struck by a southbound Hyundai Accent.
The 22-year-old pedestrian was taken to Hamilton General Hospital in stable condition with serious injuries.
The 20-year-old driver was taken to Guelph General Hospital, and was later released.
Police continue to investigate. There is no word on if charges will be laid.
No names have been released.
