Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a woman woke up to find a strange man in her bedroom at 5:30 am on Tuesday.
The suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the woman in her home on Overlea Drive in Kitchener.
Police say the woman fought back and the suspect ran off towards Eagen Drive.
The woman was not physically injured.
The unknown man is described as 5”5, wearing a navy blue sweatshirt and black sweat pants and gloves.
