A crash east of Wingham has claimed the life of a 70-year-old woman.
The crash occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. Thursday, on Brussels Line near the community of Wroxeter.
According to Huron County OPP, a northbound station wagon and southbound sedan collided head-on.
The driver of the sedan, Bluevale-area resident Kathleen Steckley, was pronounced dead in hospital.
The driver of the station wagon, a 55-year-old woman from Teeswater, remained in hospital Thursday night with serious injuries.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
