Police were called to 11 Edward Street around 10:30 p.m. When they arrived at the home they found the body of 17-year-old Nicole Wagler, who had succumbed to her injuries.

Police have charged Michael Schweitzer with first degree murder and attempted murder.
The shooting terrified neighbours. “I got a phone call saying police were in the area and I needed to grab the baby and hide in the basement so I did,” said Lisa Pettit.
“We basically grabbed pillows and blankets and we laid on the floor,” said Crissely Sippell.
Sippell says she used to give Wagler dancing lessons. “[She was] very quiet in dancing class, very quiet. But I still grabbed her and made her dance and stuff. She had the most beautiful eyes.”
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
