NORFOLK, Ont. - A 48-year-old man in Norfolk County has been struck by lightning.
Police say they received a call around 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday from a Windham ginseng farm after a man from Mexico was hit by lightning.
A police investigation determined that the man, who had been working in a field, was walking back to a vehicle when he was hit.
He had no vital signs when taken from the scene but paramedics and medical staff were able to regain a pulse when he arrived at a hospital.
He remains in critical condition.
