A man is dead after he was struck by a CNR train in the Town of Plympton- Wyoming, according to the OPP.

Just before 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, Lambton Ontario Provincial Police say they received a request by the Canadian National Railway to come to a train track east of Camlachie Road and south of Confederation Line.

Police say the early stages of an investigation show a man was struck by an eastbound train.

The man has yet to be identified.

Police have closed Camlachie Road between Confederation and Churchill Lines as Camlachie Road is currently blocked by the east bound train.
