Police are looking for a man and woman, after a homeowner near Norwich was assaulted and had two puppies stolen by knifepoint Friday, April 18.
The homeowner had placed an ad online, hoping to sell two Pomeranian puppies that were both around 2 months old.
A man and woman responded to the ad around 4 p.m. and were let into the home to view the puppies. They then threatened the homeowner with a knife, assaulted her and stole the two puppies. The homeowner suffered minor injuries.
The man is described as having light brown skin, 20 to 30 years of age, around 5’5’’, stocky build, round face, dark brown hair, brown eyes and was wearing dark clothing.
The woman is described as white, approximately 5’4’’, slim build, long blond hair in a ponytail, slim face and was wearing a yellow top, dark pants and dark boots.
Police say they were driving a white vehicle that was older.
The investigation is continuing and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
