A 45-year-old Waterloo man is accused of stealing over $171,000 from his employers.

Doug Park is accused of allegedly stealing money from convenience stores he managed.

Park was the manager of three Mac’s Milk locations; two in Kitchener and one in Baden.

“The information that we have is that it involved cash deposits, lottery tickets and theft from an ATM machine,” said Olaf Heinzel, with Waterloo Regional Police.

Park was arrested and charged with theft over $5,000 in December of 2013.

A trial was set for next week, but has been delayed due to legal issues. The case returns to court in April.
