The University of Guelph held the Magic of Science event where hundreds of Harry Potter fans could learn about science.

There was diagon alley, care of magical creatures and magic potions that had Harry Potter fans scratching their heads.

“How does that happen?” one child said “So so so so cool,” said Nathan.

Of course there was no real magic going on at the university, just some simple chemistry.

And of course there couldn’t be a Potter themed event without a game of quidditch.

“I actually just touched the snitch,” said Spencer.

Organizers say that by incorporating the classes from the pages of Harry Potter they’re able to get people excited about science.

“It’s basically a day where were showing students the science behind magical happenings that can actually happen every day in our lives,” says Tara Harvey a Let’s Talk Science organizer.
