Residents of Kitchener, Cambridge, Brantford, Ingersoll and Woodstock are among 60 people facing nearly 250 charges following an Ontario-wide investigation into child pornography in the province.

OPP announced the arrests and charges – the result of the execution of 99 search warrants – at a news conference Thursday morning.

Brandon Sharpe, an 18-year-old Ingersoll man, is charged with one county apiece of possession and distribution of child porn, as well as accessing child pornography.

Brantford resident Collin J. Esposito, 29, faces two counts of the same charges.

Dean Vucenovic, a 45-year-old man from Kitchener, and 26-year-old Cambridge resident Jonathan McDonald are each charged with one count apiece of possession of child pornography and making child pornography available.

Also charged is a 46-year-old Woodstock man, whose name was not released by police.

He’s accused of two counts of possession child porn, and one count apiece of accessing child porn, sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.

Later in the day Thursday, Waterloo Regional Police said a second Cambridge man faces charges in connection with the investigation.

Raymond Clemens, 48, is accused of possessing and making child porn.

In total, 60 people, including three youths, face a total of 249 charges.

Police say they’ve identified 14 underage victims in connection with the case, and seized drugs and prohibited weapons during their searches.
