The Legends of Fastball Classic wrapped up Sunday at Kitchener's Peter Hallman Ballyard. The defending ISC World Champion-Jarvis Travelers went up against the New Zealand Black Sox, an elite team touring North America.

The Black sox edged Jarvis 4-3 to take the 8th annual Senior Division title. In the Junior Division final, the Owen Sound Selects were 8-1 winners over Linwood.

In Major Inter-County Baseball, the Kitchener Panthers scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning against Barrie. The Baycats never recovered, as Kitchener won 9-5 at Jack Couch Park.

It was a home run-filled contest with six homers in the game, three by each team. Luke Baker was just a triple shy of the cycle, hitting a single, double and one of Kitchener's three home runs on the afternoon.

Mike Winter singled, doubled and added three RBI while Mitch Delaney singled, homered, scored four runs and added one RBI. Brian Burton had the other home run for the Panthers in the win.

Kitchener hosts Toronto tonight at 7:30 pm.
