A laser pointer was aimed at an aircraft flying over the Burford area Monday night, Brant County OPP say.

According to police, the laser came from the area of Sixth Concession Road, between Bishopsgate Road and Maple Avenue.

At the time, the aircraft was flying about 1.2 kilometres off the ground, and the laser made for a “visually dangerous condition.”

Police are reminding the public that laser light can obstruct a pilot’s vision.
