Provincial and regional police descended on a home in Kitchener’s south end early Wednesday morning.
Multiple police vehicles were seen outside the Old Huron Place residence, which is home to a family of three people.
Waterloo Regional Police referred inquiries about the police presence to the OPP, saying they were assisting the provincial agency.
An OPP spokesperson said their presence was part of a larger investigation, and more details would likely be forthcoming on Thursday.
