A Kitchener man is facing more than 20 charges after the vehicle he was driving was stopped by police on Highway 401 in Chatham-Kent.

According to the OPP, the takedown occurred around 8 a.m. Monday, near Kent Bridge Road east of Chatham.

The driver, a 36-year-old man from Kitchener, is charged with a dozen offences relating to breaching court orders, three counts apiece of possession of property obtained by crime and possession of identity documents, two counts of drug possession, and one count apiece of mischief and driving without a licence.

His passenger, a 24-year-old woman from Windsor, is charged with similar offences.
