The Kitchener-Waterloo Braves were eliminated from the Junior ‘A’ Lacrosse playoffs on Sunday night, losing a winner take all Game 5 to the Peterborough Lakers at Kinsmen Arena.  The Lakers jumped out to an early lead in the first period, and they never looked back ending the Braves season in front of their home crowd.

Holden Cattoni led the way for Lakers offensively with 4 goals.  Kyle Jackson scored 3 goals for K-W in his final junior game.  Jackson is one of four players graduating from the team.  Jake MacLay, Jay Lindsay and Matt Halloran also played their last game in a Braves uniform. 

The Lakers will now face the Six Nations Arrows in the 2nd round of the playoffs.
