On Saturday Justin Bieber returned to the place where his career first started -- the steps of Stratford's Avon Theatre. The pop star sat outside the theatre and held an impromptu concert. Delighted fans snapped pictures and sang along to Bieber's first hit song "Baby."
In 2007, Bieber earned $150-$200 a day busking on the Avon Theatre steps during tourism season.
Residents say Bieber's girlfriend Selena Gomez was spotted in a nearby vehicle during the surprise concert.
The couple will be appearing at the Much Music Video Awards in Toronto Sunday night. Bieber will be performing and Gomez is scheduled as a presenter.
