A face familiar to viewers throughout our coverage area, Janine Grespan has been on the air at CTV for nearly twenty five years.

A graduate of Ryerson University's Radio and Television Arts program, she began her career at Canada's number one private radio broadcaster, station CFRB in Toronto, working in the newsroom and as a feature reporter, as well as providing live on-location cut-ins from major events in the city for Wally Crouter's morning show, host Bill McVean and others.

Returning to her hometown in 1985, Ms Grespan started out in the Kitchener market as a news announcer on radio stations CFCA and CKKW (now KOOL-FM and K-FUN, respectively).

The following year, she was recruited to the television side of the electrohome operation, as noon news anchor and weather presenter on CKCO-TV.

By 1992, after posts as weekend anchor and news reporter, Ms. Grespan was named co-anchor of the station's flagship news house at 6pm, and the 11:30pm broadcast following CTV National News.
