Damage is estimated at $180,000 in a fire at a residence in Woodstock’s east end.

Woodstock Police say they, along with firefighters and paramedics, responded to the home at 1268 Dundas Street shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday.

When police arrived, flames were visible at the back of the house and smoke could be seen coming from its roof.

Nobody was inside at the time.

The flames kept firefighters busy for several hours before they were fully extinguished.
