Kitchener’s Chris Hemmerich delivered a solid performance in his professional golf debut over the weekend. Hemmerich finished in a tie for 5th place at a PGA tour of Canada event in Bath, Ontario coming in at 17 under par.
The 21-year old turned pro just in time to play at the Great Waterway Classic and the future is bright for the 2-time OUA champion and Ontario Amateur champ in 2014.
Hemmerich’s home course is the Westmount Golf and Country Club in Kitchener.
