One person was killed Thursday morning in a head-on crash just north of Cambridge.
Emergency crews and an Ornge air ambulance were called to the scene, on Wellington Road 32 near Concession Road 4, around 8:30 a.m.
“A southbound Acura collided with a northbound commercial motor vehicle,” Wellington County OPP Const. Cheri Rockefeller tells CTV News.
The driver of the Acura was pronounced dead at the scene, but details on their identity were not immediately available.
The driver of the commercial truck, a man in his 50s, was taken to Hamilton General Hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries.
Weather conditrions are not believed to be a factor in the collision.
Police believe a passing driver may have witnessed the crash and left before police arrival.
