An investigation is underway after the Pharma Plus in Hanover was robbed.

Police say a man entered the pharmacy through the back entrance around 5:40 p.m. Monday afternoon.

The suspect allegedly told employees he was carrying a firearm and demanded narcotics from pharmacy staff.

The man went behind the counter and took the drugs before fleeing on foot.

The quantity and the type of drugs stolen aren’t known at this time, and no one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20’s, 5’10”, thin build, with blue eyes.

He was wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans, dark gloves and a dark baseball hat.

Police say he tried to hide his face by wearing a mesh-type fabric over his face and head.
