A 70-year-old Hanover resident was pronounced dead due to natural causes following a crash in that town.
Hanover Police say the crash occurred shortly after 7 p.m. Monday, on 7th Street near 5th Avenue.
According to police, Gerard Kroeplin’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a home on 7th Street.
Paramedics and police attempted to resuscitate Kroeplin, who was pronounced dead in hospital.
Police say he suffered medical distress while driving, causing him to lose control of his vehicle.
