Two men are facing charges after allegedly being caught with guns, knives and other items at the Aberfoyle GO Transit station.

Wellington County OPP say they were notified about the men Sunday night, by a GO employee who said that a bus driver was refusing to drive with the men on his bus, as they considered it a safety risk.

The pair were allegedly yelling at each other, the other passengers and the driver.

Responding officers placed one of the men under arrest for public intoxication.

While searching him, they allegedly found a loaded handgun, a flick knife and bags of marijuana. Police say a search of his suitcase turned up an unloaded rifle, a bulletproof vest, a butterfly knife, a scale and a partially consumed bottle of alcohol.

The other man was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Police say he had cocaine and a knife on him at the time.

The two men, who are both Ottawa residents, face a number of criminal and other charges.
